Founded in 2004 by the “Mistress of Delicious” Amy, NadaMoo! was born of part inspiration and part determination.
You see, from the time she was very young, Amy’s sister struggled with seasonal allergies. When she was an adult, a nutritionist recommended eliminating certain trigger foods from her diet in an effort to control them. Watching her sister say goodbye to breads, pastries and – gasp! – ice cream, Amy saw an opportunity to make her sister’s road to health a little more enjoyable, and began re-inventing their favorite desserts, making versions without dairy, eggs, soy, wheat or sugar. There were hits and misses along the way (don’t ask about the birthday lemon tart) but Amy, a good sister and a curious cook, persevered, and eventually found that perfect combination of both really healthy and really delicious: NadaMoo!
Dairy-free, yet creamy; fewer calories and carbs, but wholly satisfying. Yum! What makes NadaMoo! so special is that though it was originally created for someone with dietary restrictions, it’s a dessert everyone enjoys—a lot!
